Welcome to the website of Metaldec
International BV & Metaldec Survey BV

We carry out projects like imaging, inspection, detection and salvage.
Also sales, rental and development

Metal detection, magnetometers, side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profiling and more

Side-scan sonar for underwater prospecting, inspection and salvage.

Imaging sonar, Surround sonar, Azimuth drives, Multibeam sonar

Metal detectors (tailor made) for industrial purposes

Metal detectors for underwater and land mobile  applications

Also Survey with, and sales or rental of, many detection, inspection or imaging systems like Side-scan sonar, Imaging sonar, Azimuth drives, Sector scanners, Multibeam sonar, Magnetometers, Navigation equipment, (D)-GPS equipment like the MobileMapper with GIS, metal detectors, professional diving equipment, Navigation software from Tresco and Stentec, Mosaicking software from Chesapeake, Georadar or GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) also for concrete analyzes like rebar's.

Metaldec takes care for the production and development of metal detectors, mainly for industrial applications but also some for hobby.

Sales and rental of almost the whole range of products is carried out without the intervention of dealers, so it will be sold or rented directly to the customer.

Metaldec International is also specialized in, for example surveying with navigation equipment, if necessary, supported by software.

That also includes the sales and rental of (D)-GPS equipment like the MobileMapper; a hand-held positioning and navigation system with GIS.

For over 11 years now, Metaldec International is able to make the bottom almost translucent  for objects so they become visible by using  i.e. a metal detector, magnetometer, (side-scan) sonar, sub-bottom profiling, electro magnetic (resistance) measuring etc.

Beside these survey operations Metaldec International has the ability to deploy divers that can dive up to depths of over 1000 feet.

Worldwide many ship-, plane- and car wrecks, anchors, pipelines, and cables are located or salvaged with the input of our sophisticated and advanced team and equipment.

Next to executing inspection, detection, imaging and diving projects, Metaldec International sells and rents many different diving equipment like diver masks, compressed gas (air, nitrox) bottles like buffer bottles (J-bottles), umbilical's etc.

This company develops training DVD's for hydrographic surveyors. These DVD's are meant for the beginner using survey techniques and equipment but also for the more advanced surveyor.

The goal is to develop an assortment DVD's, covering the most equipment that is frequently used in surveys.

The navigation software program called NaviChart, developed by Tresco is a very important part of our software assortment.

It can be obtained in a diversity of configurations and is highly professional. It can be used for inland shipping, offshore shipping, dredging, salvage, hydrographic surveys and much more.

Metaldec is also dealer of Tresco and Stentec (low-budget) navigation software with matching GPS and mouse antennas, Multiplexers, navigation charts, VirtualPlex-1 (COM port splitter) and more.

Stentec's WinGPS is obtainable in de standard and Pro version. The Pro version, next to the standard navigation version, can be used for hobby or semi-professional prospecting, diving and small survey or salvage operations.

Chesapeake's SonarWiz.MAP

Metaldec is representative for Chesapeake in order to sell software like SonarWiz.MAP and SonarWeb (Pro) and others. The software is also capable to take in data from several of (our Imagenex) Sonar devices like the Sportscan and YellowFin, but also for many other major brands.

It adds support for over 1000 coordinate systems, map projections, datums and ellipsoids as well as advanced target processing, thermal printer support and 3D seismic reflector digitizing.

Beside that the whole range of products contains:

  • SonarWiz Map (Office) (Including Magnetometer processing on request)
  • SonarWiz SSS (SideScanSonar)
  • SonarWiz Shuttle
  • SonarWiz SBP (SubBottomProfiling)
  • SonarWeb (Pro)
  • NmeaWiz
  • ImageToSagY
  • GeostarToSegY.

Conquest™ developed in response to the demand to avoid damaging conduits, rebar and post-tension cables embedded in concrete when cutting or drilling.

The system can analyze concrete at depths of up to two feet, unlike ferro-magnetic equipment (metal detectors) with limits of 4-6 inches.

In contrast to radiography, Conquest™ can be operated by one person, does not require evacuation of the work area, and only needs access to one side of the structure.

Conquest™ provides the best and most cost-effective non-destructive concrete evaluation solution on the market.

Worldwide many shipwrecks, airplane wrecks, car wrecks, anchors, pipelines, cables and much more objects are located, inspected and / or salvaged by means of sophisticated equipment on land and underwater.

Next to carry out diving projects, Metaldec International also rents a range of diving materials like full face dive masks (Kirby Morgan), air bottles (bail-out and J-bottles), umbilical, Oxygen Analyzers (for Nitrox technical divers) and more.
